This policy explains how the Knowzzle app ("Knowzzle", "we", "us") handles information. Knowzzle is a puzzle and learning app made for children and their families. Because it is designed for kids, we hold ourselves to a high standard and follow the principle of collecting as little as possible — which, in our case, is nothing.
🚫Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. Knowzzle does not ask for and does not gather:
- No name, email address, phone number, or password
- No account or sign-up of any kind
- No location data
- No photos, contacts, microphone, or camera access
- No advertising identifiers or device tracking IDs
There is simply nothing for us to collect, because the app never asks for it.
📱Where your child's progress is stored
As your child solves puzzles and plays quizzes, the app saves their progress — things like completed puzzles, badges earned, and quiz scores. This information is stored only on your own device, using your device's local storage. It never leaves the device, and it is never sent to us or to anyone else.
If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this progress is removed from your device.
📶No internet connection needed
Knowzzle is built to work fully offline. The app does not send data over the internet during normal play. There are no hidden network connections transmitting information about your child.
🧩No ads and no third parties
Knowzzle contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking tools. We do not share information with advertisers, data brokers, or any outside company — because we don't have any information to share.
🛡️Children's privacy
We take children's privacy seriously and have designed Knowzzle to comply with children's privacy laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including protections for children. Because Knowzzle collects no personal information from anyone, including children, there is no personal data of a child for us to use, disclose, or retain.
📊App store information
When you download Knowzzle from an app store (such as Google Play), that store may collect information according to its own privacy policy — for example, aggregate download and crash statistics. This happens at the store level, not inside our app, and is governed by the app store's policies, not this one. We may see anonymous, aggregated statistics (like total downloads) that do not identify any individual.
🔄Changes to this policy
If we ever add features that change how information is handled — for example optional accounts, cloud sync, or purchases — we will update this policy first and clearly describe what changes. Continued use after an update means the current version applies. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the latest version.
